Position Overview

This role responsible to coordinate team members and make sure distribution operations are completed efficiently.

 

Essential Job Roles:

 

  • Oversee delivery of goods to customers and monitor logistics from the distribution center to ensure products are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitor programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and consistency – escalate concerns and customers satisfaction risks
  • Plan and arrange deliveries according to sales reports and fleet capacity.
  • Maintain records concerning operations and programs; prepare reports on operations and activities.
  • Ensure the job is performed by adhering to safety standards applicable.
  • Supervise and direct dispatchers / drivers and labors for Distribution activities.
  • Monitor daily team performance to ensure quality results are being delivered - establish and manage key performance metrics / dashboards for the team
  • Manage team performance and efficiency and make recommendations for process improvements resulting in increased quality of service and customer satisfaction
  • Coaches, mentors, trains, and evaluates members, including direct reports’ annual performance reviews to include consistent development and feedback
